Ena is a translator, cultural mediator, president of the Arab Cultural Center (www.akc.rs) and director of the HIKMA Translation Agency (www.hikma.rs) specializing in translations into and from Arabic and cultural mediation training.
She graduated from the Department of Oriental Studies at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade (Arabic language and literature). She obtained the MA title in Arabic Language and Literature at the same faculty, defending the thesis “Characteristics of Western Libyan dialects: the Tripoli dialect”.
Ena created and conducted training for cultural mediators in cooperation with DCAF Ljubljana in Podgorica and Sarajevo, as part of national training for translators. She has experience in working with migrants and refugees as a cultural mediator, in organizations such as: Doctors Without Borders, IOM and SOS Children’s Villages.
